The Nutritional Oncology Research Institute is actively seeking research funding to expand clinical evaluation of the high dose selenium protocol and to clinically evaluate the oral high dose selenium protocol. Grant proposals have been submitted to cancer foundations that are interested in supporting research on alternative and natural therapies.
The expectation is to receive funding by the end of 2011 or
the early part of 2012. Writing letters of interest and grant proposals has been a very time consuming process but ongoing research projects are continuing.
The institute will be affiliated with and sponsored by a large
university that specializes in natural medicine. More details will be announced when the final arrangements are completed. This will greatly expand the staff and scope of the institute's activities and research projects.
